The Young Healthwatch First Aid Event on 28th May, attracted media attention from BBC Three Counties Radio and BBC Look East.

It was a brilliant day for our team. From everyone at Young Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire, we want to say a big thank you to St John Ambulance and our instructor Ian, Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire, Healthwatch England, BBC Three Counties and BBC East of England. This event wouldn’t have been possible without all the volunteers and support we’ve had behind the project.

Hopefully there will be more events like this to come.

St John Ambulance encourages everyone to download their First Aid App – giving you first aid knowledge at your finger tips. Even basic first aid knowledge can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
